Ponderosa PTSA Scholarship

We are so excited this year to be able to offer four $1,000 scholarships to our graduating seniors. In order to be eligible for a Ponderosa PTSA scholarship, seniors must become a member of the PTSA by paying the $35 family membership (adult + one student) or the $20 individual annual membership fee. Four seniors, two girls and two boys, will each be awarded $1,000 scholarship toward higher learning.

In order to apply a student must meet the following criteria.

1. Be a graduating high school senior and a member of Ponderosa High       School's PTSA in good standing.

2. Plan to enroll as a full time college student taking a minimum of 12 semester hours at a college or a vocational school.

3. Have maintained a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0-point scale.

4. Submit a 500 word essay about your future plans after graduation as well as the greatest lesson you have learned while at Ponderosa.

Essays and transcript need to be submitted to the front office no later than 3p on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

Colorado PTA Scholarship

requirements and to download an application.

 

We anticipate the application deadline to also be March 1, 2017.
